# Newtown Energy
This is the public start page for Newtown Energy's wiki.
This is a private wiki with some public information and pages. The public part of our wiki is read-only. If you would like to edit it, please request an account.

This is the main start page for Newtown Energy's private, internal wiki. It can handle markdown files and will render them into dokuwiki pages. We also have some public pages, which you can see in the sitemap.
The private part of this wiki will contain shared material for getting our work done, firm policies, information on our information tech, etc.
Some common pages you might want:
* We have some notes on architecture and setting up the RTAC.
* We are using it:vaultwarden.
* We have a field team.
git-remote-dokuwiki
Thanks to the magic of
[git-remote-wiki](https://github.com/jvasile/git-remote-dokuwiki), you can
access this dokuwiki (any dokuwiki with XML-RPC enabled, really) as a git repo.
Once you install `git-remote-dokuwiki`, you can do something like this:
```
$ git clone dokuwiki::james@wiki.jamesvasile.com/newtown
Cloning into 'newtown'...
Cookie file not found: "/tmp/t/wiki.jamesvasile.com/.git/dokuwiki-cookies.txt"
Password for 'https://james@wiki.jamesvasile.com':
```
And you'll be in business.
Note that having this wiki as a git repo also makes it very easy for Claude to access its information, make updates, etc.
